End Game Notes
Prayers of Heresy acknowledges the end-game story from the original Final Fantasy Tactics. According to Arazlam's notes, Delita and Ovelia brought in a golden age of prosperity for the land of Ivalice. However, 400 years later it is canon that Ramza is still labeled as a heretic, Delita is still the Hero of Ivalice, and Orran Durai was executed for attempting to publish the Durai Report. At the end of the game it shows a scene where Ovelia stabs Delita and then he returns the favor where it is strongly alluded that they both die.
These pieces of canon are considered Prayers of Heresy's "end-game" material. Meaning, the meta story arc must end on that note (many apologies to whoever decides to pick up Orran Durai). Therefore, the players should probably understand the importance of not heavily focusing on attempting to oust or kill those particular characters early in the game as it will end a heavy majority of opportunity to "fill in the blanks" between the end of the war and the end of the Heiral reign.
Once we reach that end-point, the game will be re-evaluated as a whole and the administration will determine with the players on whether a new meta arc should be crafted to continue the game or end PoH's indefinitely. The administration is hoping it won't come to this particular point for at least a year or two.
Please be cognoscente of this intent as you play.
Thank you!
